We are a nonprofit, service organization and are dedicated to the education of the dog owner and non-dog owner alike. Our club members are directly involved in actively striving toward humane treatment for all animals including the necessary education and action for helping to curb the population explosion.
The objective of the Monroe Kennel Club is to advance the principles and scientific practices in the breeding of pure-bred dogs; promote and conduct licensed dog shows, sanctioned matches and obedience trials under the rules and Regulations of the AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB and to promote social and recreational activities in connection with dog breeding and exhibition.
