About MKC
Established in 1958, Monroe Kennel Club is a nonprofit organization and licensed with the American Kennel Club. Its members consist of breeders and performance enthusiast that are committed to the welfare and responsible breeding practices of purebred dogs. Monroe Kennel Club held its first all breed confirmation show in 1965. Through the dedication of its members, it has grown into holding confirmation all breed show, Obedience, Rally and Scent Work trials. In conjunction with other kennel clubs, we also have Lure Coursing, Barn Hunt and Weight Pull being offered to exhibitors at our show. The club also reaches out to organizations that are committed to the welfare of dogs that are in need of donations.



Our Mission
To advance the principles and scientific practices in the breeding of pure bred dogs: promote and conduct licensed dog shows, sanctioned matches and obedience trials under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club and to promote social and recreational activities in connection with dog breeding and exhibition.
